This summer, I decided to spend one very special day with Natalie. It was a day just for us. We spent a big part of the day at the new Children's Museum:
We went fishing in the pond. |
We played in the sandbox. |
We buried Natalie's legs in the sandbox... |
And then we did it again... |
And we kept working on it! |
I love this picture of Natalie - it just captures her personality so well. |
There was a big area with cardboard pieces, so we build this big thing. |
And then we started working with the legos. We worked for a long time - about 5 hours total. Natalie was really into it, and she didn't want to leave it until the place was getting ready to close, |
We build this crazy big thing! |
The view from one side... |
And the view from the other side! There are even cars that are waiting to pull into the garage. |
Everything on the lego-building had a story - from the garden in front to the people that lived on the roof, etc. It was an awesome afternoon!
After the museum closed, we went out for dinner, just the two of us. After that, we made a quick stop at a park:
Natalie loves the spinning thingie. |
Then we went to another park, that had a free concert going on that night.
Enjoying the music. |
Listening very intensely. |
I think she liked the music. After about an hour they introduced the last piece of music, and Natalie said "Already?"
It was a very, very good day.

Oh Karen. I can see you do so well
for Natalie. You allways take care
of her and give her so many good
experience. Both of you parents
spend a lot of time to do the best
for your little daughter.
With love Grandma - Denmark.
