Dance, dance, dance

It's no secret that Natalie likes to dance. So, we signed her up for a summer season of dance classes. Of course, that requires the right attire:
Showing off her new dance outfit, complete with ballet shoes!

Last week, she had her first lesson. She had a blast! The dance studio has a one-way mirror, so we can watch her during class without her seeing us. It's perfect. It's so much fun to see her in class. She is definitely not the best dancer in the class, but she really works hard at it and tries her best. And she always comes out of the classroom with a huge smile on her face! And that's really all that counts, isn't it?

Here's a picture from her first dance class, before the class started. I just love how you can see her expression in the mirror:
"Where's the teacher?"

Memorial Day Parade

As in previous years, we went to this year's Memorial Day Parade. Natalie was ready, hoping someone would throw her some candy to put in her bag:

Such a cute smile - ready for the parade!
We were sitting with Aubriella and her family, and as always, we had such a great time. This year, I even got a picture of Natalie almost smiling as the parade went by:

Parades are such a great tradition!

Happy Father's Day!

Here are just a few reasons why Natalie is a very lucky kid:

Daddy always let's her win at "who has the flattest nose?"

Daddy always let's his little princess play with his tech gadgets!
And it's nice to have a soft place to relax once in a while!
Happy Father's Day, Karsten! Natalie is lucky to have you as her Dad!

And she did a great job, too!

The new bike

Natalie has got a new skill to show off:

What's that all the way up there?

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's...
Natalie on her new bike!

Here she comes, no stopping her now!

This video is from one of her first tries at it. I thought she did pretty well for a beginner, and she's only gotten better since!
